MRS. BARBER DIES OF SHORT ILLNESS

Farmwife Living Near Courtland Taken to Hospital in Salina Three Weeks Ago

Mrs. Halsey Barber died this morning in the St, .John's hospital, following an illness of several weeks.  Mrs. Barber, who lived on a farm near Courtland, became ill and was taken to the Salina hospital three weeks ago.

She was formerly Miss Bulah Bunn, daughter of James and Ida Bunn, and was born in Webster City, Ia.  She was married to Charles Halsey Barber of Concordia on Nov. 19, 1925, and to them two children, Frances and Jack, were born.  She united with the Christian church at Leon, Ia., when 13 years of age and was a member of Leah Chapter 182, O. E. S. of Concordia.

She leaves her husband and two children her mother, Mrs. Ida Bunn, of Marcelline, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence of Mrs. H. W. Barber 512 West Fifth street.
